Yesterday at our weekly chapter meaning for Alpha Phi Omega, the executive director of the Making Headway foundation came in to guest speak. Making Headway is a foundation dedicated to the "care, comfort, and cure of children with brain and spinal cord tumors." The organization provides support at the hospital, ongoing care for the families, and funds medical research for a cure. In the future, Alpha Phi Omega plans to have volunteer opportunities with this organization, as well as fundraising events for this great cause.
