Today was our annual field hockey banquet.
I personally LOVE banquets. It's great for a couple of reasons.
It gives me a chance to get dressed up. Believe it or not, college students don't really get many opportunities to go to formal things to get dressed up.
Also (and more importantly), it gives me yet another reason to see my teammates and reflect on our season. We said good-bye to our five outstanding seniors and talked about what we accomplished as a team this year, as well as reflecting on what the seniors have accomplished in their years on the team.
We saw game film, funny videos of our team being crazy, and also got to spend time with our fans (aka our team's family and friends).
