Well.... winter break has been pretty eventful thus far.
I got a job at Wawa. If you aren't from New Jersey, it's a convenient store that is simply amazing. I am very excited to be working there for winter break because the people there are great and it'll keep me busy during break!
Yesterday my sister and I tried out for the Maccabiah Games. To sum it up, it is a set of games similar to the Olympics that are held in Israel every 4 years for Jewish athletes. Luckily for us, the field hockey tryouts were held in Millburn, New Jersey. People from all over the country came to compete, driving through the terrible snow and ice to get there. If we make the team, we would be going to Israel for 3 weeks over the summer to compete and represent the US in these games. The field was very competitive, so we're crossing our fingers and hoping that we hear good news when they inform us of their decision in January.
Hanukkah has started.Tonight is the second night!
Today Lauren and I decided to go visit our high school. It was great to go into the school and chat with teachers about school. I was able to see my math teachers (one of which is a Stevens alum) and tell them about my math experiences at Stevens! I must say that it is odd to walk into the high school and see the little freshman! I know that I look young, but these kids just look so little!
