One of the FEW (yes it's a short list) good things about finals is the Midnight Breakfast. The name is actually a misnomer. Breakfast food is served from 10 pm- 12 midnight in the Pierce Dining Hall to give students a night to take a little break from studying for finals. It is hosted by ResLife.
This year I decided to get there very early, so I could reserve a spot to get a massage done. Truthbetold, I really needed this massage. My finals that I took today did not go as smoothly as I thought.
The massage was sensational. It was painful, but my back and shoulders feel a lot more relaxed. I actually asked the masseuse how tight my muscles are on a scale of 1 to 10. Her answer: 8 without the slightest bit of hesitation. I'm not really surprised by that, but it still caught me off guard; it's one thing for me to think I''m stressed, but it's another thing for a masseuse who doesn't even know me to see/ feel it hah.
In addition to the massages, there were games, karaoke, and crafts! I would definitely say that my excursion back to campus to go to the Midnight Breakfast was a success.
