Never have I ever.... DONE A LIP SYNC BEFORE!
On Friday, I participated in Phi Sigma Sigma's Lip Sync Competition to benefit the National Kidney Foundation.
4 members of the field hockey team (including myself) said that we would be a part of this lip sync if we won our conference championship. Unfortunately, when we made the pact to participate in this lip sync, the deadline and day of competition was very far ahead in the future, so we didn't realize the full extent of what we were getting ourselves into. It was out of all of our characters (except maybe for Katie ha) to do something outrageous like this, but a promise is a promise. And I'll tell you what, if Phi SIg has the lip sync again next year and we win the conference, I will TOTALLY do it again... Dedication at its finest hahaha.
Our group: Battle of the Boy Bands
Yes. We really did BATTLE OF THE BOY BANDS. It was a dance off: Lauren and me versus Liz and Katie. Lauren and I were the Backstreet Boys, AJ and Nick Carter, respectively; Liz and Katie were JC and Justin Timberlake, respectively.
Other AMAZING acts include the wrestling team (INCREDIBLE!). They were so entertaining, and I will admit that I don't mind losing to them! Their medley of songs had me laughing so hard in my seat. Other favorites of mine were The Hanukkah Song adaptation and The WIll Ferrell/ Cheri Oteri Bobby Fischer chess match cheer. APO did a wonderful High School Musical song, members of the women's basketball team did a great collaborative lip sync, and also another Phi SIg SNL skit were also awesome.
