So apparently it is National Ice Cream Month... didn't know that until lunch this afternoon!
I was eating lunch with my friend Michael at Frozen Monkey Cafe (on Washington near 5th Street) and we had just ordered Tasty Delites. 
Tasty Delites are absolutely delicious. I like to think of them as a healthier alternative instead of regular ice cream.
We were about to eat it when a reporter from the Hudsonn Current approached us. She asked us what our favorite ice cream was and such. I was shocked, to be honest, that I didn't know it was National Ice Cream Month. I worked at an ice cream store called Maggie Moo's back home for a year and a half. As a matter of fact, my favorite ice cream is Better Batter AND I did dress up as Maggie during my tenure at Maggie Moo's (she is a cow...it was definitely one of my finer performances in life ha).
So, keep an eye out in the Hudson Current for my debut; there should be a picture of Michael and I digging into our ice cream!
